NHPCO Membership Plans and Programs

Ken Haglind has served as president of Minnesota Hospice in Lakeville for nearly 4 years. In addition to managing the company’s strategic direction and financial performance, Ken Haglind engages with professional organizations such as the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.

The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) has served the interests of professionals caring for individuals living with severe illnesses (in addition to providers in this industry) since 1978. To best serve such a diverse, expansive medical field, the organization has established various membership tiers and programs. Hospice membership, for example, provides the knowledge and information necessary to thrive in the ever-evolving health care landscape.

Associate membership, on the other hand, benefits vendors and equipment providers, as well as consultants and any service providers working with professionals in the palliative care industry. Lastly, palliative care membership has been specifically designed to meet the needs of community-based care providers. Palliative care membership is ideal for professionals at every stage of their careers, whether they are either establishing programs for the first time or seeking to enhance and sustain connections throughout the palliative care network.
